CCHF Health Freedom eNews

December 30, 2013

Dear CCHF Supporter:

As we wrap up 2013, we are pleased to report that Obamacare has suffered some very serious set backs and that only with your ongoing support can we continue to build the momentum necessary to win this battle for patient privacy and health care freedom. The law must be repealed.

The administration is committed to implementing Obamacare. We can be sure that the president and his staff will do whatever it takes to try to recover from their recent failures, including using administrative tactics and Obamacare delays to get them past the 2014 election with as little political damage as possible.

Therefore, whether or not the Obamacare website eventually begins to function at full speed and without errors or shutdowns, CCHFreedom must continue to act on and address the underlining threats that this intrusive law imposes on all Americans and the future of freedom.

We must raise an additional $200,000 to accomplish these important goals in 2014:

  • Write an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court to support two key Obamacare lawsuits: Hobby Lobby's challenge to the contraceptive mandate and likely the Oklahoma

  • Attorney General's challenge to the Obama administration declaring it can provide federal premium subsidies through the federal Obamacare exchange (healthcare.gov) when the law only allows federal subsidies to be issued by state-established exchanges. Oklahoma's lawsuit if successful would cripple the exchanges, and with it, Obamacare.

  • Implement a nationwide "refuse to enroll" lawn sign campaign during the critical year of 2014.

  • Effectively counter the multi-million-dollar Obamacare enrollment marketing campaign by working with marketing experts to develop, produce and air additional state-specific "refuse to enroll" radio, Internet and video messages aimed at those targeted by the Obamacare marketing campaign: the young and the healthy - and their influential mothers.

  • Begin a focused campaign to undo the HIPAA "no-privacy" rule by expanding of our "refuse to sign the HIPAA form" campaign and publishing of a booklet of "real people" stories of patient refused treatment nationwide for refusing to sign the deceptive form, even though HHS specifically states on their website that individuals are allowed to refuse.

  • On an issue with national ramifications, set a precedent by stopping the Minnesota Department of Health from keeping forever the newborn DNA the MN Supreme Court ruled they illegally stored and used. This is not yet a settled issue.

  • As requested by groups in at least five states, add policy staff to develop model state legislation to make it more difficult for the federal government to ration medical care and implement intrusive Obamacare controls on doctors.

We need your help today to keep this momentum going in the right direction. If you would like to join us in our mission to protect personal health freedom from government intrusion and you also believe it is important to defeat and repeal Obamacare, please go to www.cchfreedom and click "Donate" or send a check today with your tax deductible gift.

Committed to Repealing Obamacare,

PS: With the administration fighting with all they have, the battle for our individual freedom has risen to a new level in these important days. You are making a huge difference and we need your support now more than ever. We must raise $200,000 above our current budget to expand our "refuse to enroll" campaign in 2014.  Send your tax-deductible donation to CCHFreedom before December 31, 2013 or donate online to launch our "refuse to enroll" efforts successfully into 2014.
